Day 7: I’ve got to stop watching so many documentaries

Every morning, my coworker and I tell each other the random dreams we’ve each had the night before. To be fair, my dreams are quite normal, hers are not. Just kidding. Anyway, anyone who’s friends with me on Netlfix knows, I love me some documentaries.

Recently watched:
- Thin
- Devil’s Playground
- Eyes of Tammy Faye (okay, this one was totally unnecessary)
- Jesus Camp
- Scrabylon

And, the list could really go on FOREVER. I’ll also watch any special on the TLC network about the Duggars, the Roloffs, those people with the sextuplets, etc. etc.

What can I say, I like to KNOW things. But, Sunday night, the effects of my documentary watching took a dangerous, dangerous turn.

I dreamt I was in love with an Amish man on his Rumspringa and got parenting lessons from Michelle Duggar. Do you see how this would frighten me?

Day 7: My socks have made an appearance

After my hypothermia scare yesterday, I’ve donned socks. And, it’s not that bad.

Day 6: Clearing things up

It’s been brought to my attention that I omitted a portion of my First Thursday experience last week.

So, here it is:

At the end of our evening, Ashleigh and I were met by the delightful, yet slightly inebriated Josh, at Leonardo’s. We ate dessert and crostini (they do so go together, shut up) and had a couple cocktails. I’m finally glad to have that off my chest! The guilt of withholding it was intense!

Today’s Shoe:

November 6 - Franco Sarto

I never, ever wear these shoes. I know they’re a bit matronly, but they’re SO comfortable. I beleive I got these for a STEAL at Nordstrom Rack. They were $40 or so. But, please note, this is the LAST day I go without socks. My trip to Noah’s this a.m. was brutal, I thought I had hypothermia in the feet by the time I returned.

Day 5: Wherein I stick out my lower lip and stomp my foot

I’m in a HORRIBLE mood. Horrible. Thus, I shall complain.

- My desk was COVERED with a weird sandy substance this a.m. I do not know what it is, but it’s gross.

- I had to take my car BACK to the shop again to have the cd player replaced. Do you think it would have been nice of them to reprogram all my stations. P.S. One of the cds stuck in the broken cd player is a book on tape from the library. Oops. Guess I’ll be buying that one.

- I cannot deal with technology. My DVR is lame, and both my iMac and iBook are broken. I do not have a spare $1500 for a new iBook.

- The person who parked next to me at my apartments last night parked so close that I had to get into the passenger side and CLIMB over the seat.

- The heel broke on my Steve Madden shoes. I will return them to Nordstrom tomorrow, don’t worry.

- I just heard that All My Children is affected by the writer’s strike. I am ashamed to admit, I watch this program every day, and I have done so since I was 15. Blame my mother.

- Gelsey has taken to peeing in places other than her litter box. Her favorite spot so far: atop my straw Kate Spade peacock purse. I can only imagine it’s because Zane gave me that purse and she, like me, does not care for Zane.

I feel a bit better, internets, you are good listeners!
