Tonight’s the night the world begins again

I was very glad today to take some time to attend the Christmas Eve service at my church. I’ve found myself very caught up in buying the perfect present, and picking out the right outfits for Christmas Gatherings. I was so humbled at today’s service. I’m reminded that tonight, my savior Jesus was born, he loves me like no one else, and he died to save me.

I hope we can all take a moment to remember what it’s all really about. I have and I’m now ready to go spend some time with the best family a girl could have.

Merry Christmas Friends!

Oh, Hi…

It’s been a while. So, I will ramble…

In the past month…

- I’ve visited St. Louis, MO. I could have had a knitting date with Fluid Pudding, but, activities were planned, so instead my heart broke. But, I did enjoy many a free beer at Anheuser Busch, where it turns out, there are photo opportunities!
- I took my cat on a car trip to my family’s beach house at Thanksgiving. She is never allowed in my car again. (Oh, also, I got a new car).
- I turned 29. And, I am not kidding you, but I have had heartburn EVERY DAMN DAY since my birthday. Send Tums, please.
- Even more important than turning 29 ( I mean, who really cares about turning 29?) I GOT A NEW COMPUTER!!! Ladies and Gentlemen (cause you know I have tons of male readers), please meet Pink Martini.
- And, with my computer, I got a free scanner! I’ve been quite Scan Happy these days.
- I got the Katie Holmes Bob. According to The Oregonian, it’s Scientology Chic. I love it. And, what I love even more is that my coworkers and I went to a function in Downtown Portland and I walked slowly by the Church of Scientology (yes, we have one, we’re that weird here) just to see if someone would come running out screaming “KATIE!” Sadly, nobody did. Oh well, another day.

In other less exciting news: I am way behind on knitting and my apartment has also turned into package wrapping hell. But, on the good front, I’m really almost done with my shopping. On the other hand, I can’t seem to make it home after work by the time my apartment office closes, so there are several online purchases waiting for me to pick up.

For tonight, I’ll prepare potluck fixings for tomorrow’s work Christmas Luncheon. Nothing says Christmas to me like Pork Enchiladas!!
