First of all, I’m really disappointed in all of you for not guessing the song from this post. Apparently, I am the only Cake fan around here. The song is Carbon Monoxide. Go listen to it post haste.
Secondly, today on my way to work, I saw a truck for a lawn care business called Mow Town. I have already hired them to mow my future lawn. It’s seriously the most clever name I have ever heard.
Thirdly, it was proven that my transmission woes were indeed cause by the asshat who hit my pretty car. So, Tawny is getting herself a brand new transmission, torque converter (whatever the hell that is), and radiator. I hope to get her back a week from tomorrow.
And, now on to the real point of this post. My lovely and hilarious pal Britt posted about her celebrity crushes yesterday. I’m a big idea stealer, so I am going to share with you my Official Do-Boy List. I ask you not to judge.
In no particular order:
- Joel McHale from The Soup. Not only is Joel HOTT, he is also the funny. I like the funny. You can catch him on The Soup on E! or Fridays on the Adam Carolla Radio Show, from iTunes you can download the specific Joel podcasts. But, the whole show is hilarious. Which brings me to my next Do-Me Boy.
- Adam Carolla. Now, Adam is not the most attractive, but he’s super witty and smart. Witty always gets me. I am pretty sure that Mrs. Flinger shares my Adam love.
- Ira Glass. My love for Ira has everything to do with his voice. And, a lot to do with this picture. He’s a fantastic story teller and I for once in my life would shut up and let someone else talk if he were around.
- Stephen Colbert. Words cannot express the love that I have for Mr. Colbert. I’d insist that he’d bring at least a case of his Americone Dream. Because, the supermarket is always out of it.
- Owen Wilson. Now, I’ve thought long and hard over whether Owen should be in my list with his recent suicide attempt. He’s clearly very sad that he and I are not together. I’ve had my own bouts with depression, so I’ve allowed him to stay. I love him that much. If you’ve not seen him in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, you must go rent it. Or, you can call me and I’ll act out the movie over the phone. But, then you don’t get to see Owen. Your choice.
Now, in the event that any of my Do-Me Boys cannot fulfill their duties as Do-Me Boys, I have placed Peter Krause on my reserve list. I love him so very very much in Six Feet Under I can hardly stand it. Also, he’s darling in Dirty Sexy Money.
So, who are your Do-Me Boys? Please tell me they are just as quirky as mine.

I don’t know that they’re Do-Me boys, exactly. Since I’m married, they are more like, I’d-love-to-have-lunch-with and talk-and-gaze-adoringly-into-their-eyes Boys. I love John Cusack, Ewan McGregor, Alan Tudyk (Wash from “Firefly”), Steve Martin…I am sure there are more but I’m tired and can’t think of them.
Did you get your mug yet?!? :-)

Casey Affleck, Milo Ventimiglia (after the sexy haircut, before the 18-year-old girlfriend), Eric Bana and, if we’re being honest, Jennifer Aniston. I love her! So sue me!

Rhett Miller, Rhett Miller, Rhett Miller. (Dude, don’t miss him tonight on the “Tonight Show”.)
And you KNOW I love me some Ira Glass. My son had a shirt with that specific picture on it when he was a baby.
Oh, and do you have your tickets to the live satellite TAL show? I DO!

Even though most of the men on my list have been given the boot, I’d probably still do all of them.
And apparently I’m in love with John Cusack also, as you know.

Will Smith – He’s just the whole package: funny, witty, talented, good-looking, super cool (except he hangs out with Tom Cruise…)
Matt Damon – Just love him. Did you see the Jimmy Kimmel/Sarah Silverman spoof? Loved MD in that. The fact that he was cracking himself up makes me laugh. And his Bourne Identity kinda makes me swoon.
James Gandolfini – Kinda reminds me of an ex-boyfriend. Not to mention I had a totally hot dream about him once (Mr Gandolfini, that is). Love the Mob Boss power thing, I guess.
Matthew McConaughey – Can’t help it. He’s hot. Loved him in A Time To Kill. Yummy hot sweaty southern boy. Mmmm.
Oh, and I TOTALLY get the Adam Corolla thing. I’d eat him with a spoon given the chance.

Ok.. well, we have the obvious – George Clooney followed by George Eads (CSI). In third place, the Do-Me Boy title goes to…. Marc Blucas and the runners up are Matthew Gray Gubler(?) (Criminal Minds – don’t ask) and John Pino (Cold Case).
Sadly, Reese popped my dream of running off with John Pino when she told me they film Cold Case on the WB lot and, oh yeah – he’s always with his FAMILY running around the lot. Thanks for the visual *sigh* so it’s a guilty crush and I reserve the right to replace him with someone else if need be – like Chris Noth (L&O moreso than S&TC characters)

Ok I am not posting a list and this is why. I know who Owen Wilson is, and I recognized the name Adam Carolla. But when I went to the sight, my first thought was I recognize her, that Teresa from While You Were Out! Sadly this is my life.
Tough Ty, from Trading Spaces and Tim Mc Graw are pretty dreamy, and have a nice tush. And yes, Shawn knows I think this.
