Hello, Friends! Here’s what I’ve been up to, and will be up to this weekend.
- Thank you so much for all the fab comments about my online dating adventure. I do realize there are plenty of fantastic men who are either short or have children – but, those guys are just not for me. I’m VERY TALL and 75% of the time, I’m wearing a pair of heels. Also, you may recall in my last brief relationship, there was a child involved and it was way too hard for me to stop seeing the child after the relationship was over. So, there you have it.
- I have not been enjoying the weather in Portland, and I”m hoping this weekend we’ll have a little bit of sunny weather.
- Because if not, Zoo Brew is really going to suck tonight.
- Can we talk for a second about partial RSS feeds? They suck. Go read what Sweetney has to say. She’s rad. Add her FULL FEED to your feed reader while you’re there. You will not be sorry.
- Then, when you’re done, please to switch to a full feed. You know who you are.
- I will NOT be going to see Sex and the City this weekend. I hate crowds, so I’ll be waiting a few weeks to see it. Also, I’ve heard it’s not that great anyway. And, I just hate spending $9 dollars to see stuff that’s not that great.
- Part of yesterday was spent believing a spider had bitten me on my ear. Then, I did a google image search for ’spider bite’. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT EVER DO THIS. The bump on my ear is probably a pimple. So, I’m safe.
- Other than tonight’s plans at Zoo Brew, I’ve got nothing. Which, makes me SO HAPPY.
Enjoy your weekend, friends!

I do partial feeds. I want to see who is reading. So sue me! I don’t really care if it is affecting who subscribes to me or whatever. I need to know!

Especially don’t do a google image search of “brown recluse spider bite.” Trust me on this one, you don’t want to see those search results.
Zoo Brew? I think I need to move to Portland. Your town has so many cooler things than my town. Or maybe my town has them and I just don’t know. Must investigate.
I’m not sure how I feel about the Sex and the City movie. Along with SFU, SATC’s series finale is one of my all-time favorites. I’m not sure I want to see that happy ending get all messed up. (Am I pathetic? Yes.)

I will also be waiting to see the SATC movie. And my husband won’t go with me. He sucks!
And I couldn’t agree more with you about what Sweetney said. FULL FEEDS PEOPLE!

Great post by Sweetney – partial feeds are of the devil. I HATE them.
And I would never date someone shorter than me, either.

You’ll get no argument on size from this 5’9″ woman. But I’ll tell you a little story. A friend from college, Richard, called me years later and asked me to come up to Maine to his wedding. Richard is, at most 5’3. AT MOST. He looks like a gnome. I was joking with my family that it would be SOOOO funny if he ended up married to some really tall woman. Hahaha. Well, I get to the wedding, and lo and behold, is bride Lee is 5’11. No shit!
They’re divorced.

Hey, I hate partial feeds, too. But it prevents my stuff from being scraped and stolen by those evil spam aggregators.
