Friday Bullets! Bed Rest Edition
  • I am on day 4.5 of bed rest and oh my gosh, I am going stir crazy.
  • The good news is, I’m feeling a bit better today, and will be LEAVING THE HOUSE THIS EVENING
  • What am I doing you ask? Oh, I’m just staying the night in an air conditioned hotel room with a very sweet boy because it’s going to be 101 degrees today and it’s hard to recover comfortably when you’re sweating like a pig.
  • In other evening excitement, I’m hoping to meet up with Sizzle! Also, Kerri Anne! (I’m a lucky girl in that I see Kerri LOTS, but I still get excited over it, because she’s DELIGHTFUL)
  • It seems that I’m planning a trip to Chicago in November, so hopefully I’ll be able to meet up with a certain blogger who lives there.
  • I’m going back to work on Monday and am concerned about how I will stay awake all day and also how I’m going to fit in an actual pair of pants. Because, the bloating? OUT OF CONTROL.
  • There was/is a Netflix Outage this week which has pretty much ruined my life. I feel that Netflix owes me $23 something for my download of Dexter Season 2 from iTunes and also $20 something for the craptastic movies I rented from Hollywood last night. Had they been shipping me One Tree Hill, The Tudors, and Lost like I instructed (AND PAID!) them to do I would not have had to a) watch the trainwreck that is Sleepwalking and b) Venture down to the store, which apparently was too much for my post-op body, because I threw up when I returned (This is the TMI blog until further notice, by the way)
  • OH! Thank you for all your sweet words and wishes on my big news post. I know that 4 years is a long time, but, you see, I thought that if I even wanted to ever have kids, I’d do it at like age 35. So, there you have it. Also, I’ll be seeing a Naturopathic Women’s Doctor that my uncle has done some research on for me. In addition to my gynecologist/surgeon, who by the way, is one of the best in Portland and whom I trust very much.
  • Now, I’m off to find an outfit for today that hides my distended belly.

Enjoy your weekend, loves!

I always thought I’d have kids before I was 35 and now I am 35 and think to myself, “Well, SHIT.” Life doesn’t always work out like we planned, does it? But at least there are other options to explore. I hope the other docs can shed more light on your situation.

AND I am totally gonna hang out with you tonight! YAY!

Oooh! I am totally excited for you to get to relax in a room with ac tonight. Yay! Also the trip to Chicago sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve never been, but it’s one of those places I have always wanted to visit.

Yay! Enjoy leaving the house/prison.

that’s why i download everything for free….;)

I love Kerri too! Have a super weekend – hooray for the cute boy!

okay, you are TOO cute. I am 38 years old… childless (read my blog entry, branded), never had surgery but other issues exist… I am still hopeful that I will figure out away to pop out a rugrat or so. Good luck with the recuperation. Your positive attitude will get you there, no doubt.

Kristabella is totally overrated (SHHH….don’t tell her I said that. She thinks I like her!)

I just got caught up on twitter and saw that you had surgery. (I am a moron.) Hope you’re feeling better and enjoying your weekend away!

Wow, I would go crazy on bed rest too! I hope you have a good recovery!

I have faith you will push one out for the gipper before your time is due. If not, I’ve three to choose from. seriously.

Slynnro is just a jealous fool. And apparently thinks I can’t read.

I can’t wait for November! Which is saying a lot because I’m not a big fan of winter in the Midwest!
